Minke whale catalogue

At the request of various local naturalists, colleagues and commercial whale watch companies MERS has put together a catalogue depicting all of the individual minke whales that are regularly seen in Johnstone and Queen Charlotte straits. This catalogue is a by-product of the photo identification research we at the MERS Marine Education and Research Society are conducting on minke whales in British Columbia. It is hoped that the detailed photos and background information provided for each whale will enrich observations of these whales and lead to a greater appreciation of their lives and existence in these waters.
Catalogues are 15 page full colour booklets printed on 100 lb. uv protectant card stock. They can be ordered for $20.00 each (postage included) through the donate page of our website http://www.mersociety.org/donate.htm Be sure to specify how many catalogues you would like, who you are, and your mailing address in the “Add special instructions to recipient” box. Proceeds from the promotion and sale of these catalogues will go exclusively towards minke whale research.
